Yes, EMUAIDMAX is an effective prophylactic to prevent UTI. For prevention, as well as outer xxxx relief from pain, itching, burning, irritation and inflammation associated with a UTI, we recommend using EMUAIDMAX First Aid Ointment (red & white label). Please note, EMUAID will have no effect on infection that has spread further along the urinary tract past the outer urethra. The urinary tract consists of the kidneys, ureters (duct from kidneys to bladder), urinary bladder and urethra (opening). EMUAID will help prevent infection and relieve the symptoms of the external urinary tract (urethra) only. If you suspect you have a UTI, it’s best to be checked out by your doctor to ensure you have a proper diagnosis. UTI’s can sometimes require oral medication such as antibiotics that can only be prescribed by your physician.
