We advise against wearing nail polish while treating nail fungus. Fungus thrives in dark conditions and polish creates the kind of environment for it to grow. Using nail polish on the infected area can also contaminate the bottle, spreading the fungus to other nails.
If you cut or trim your own nails, please use rubbing alcohol on the clippers/nippers in between each nail. This is so you don’t continue to spread the fungus.
If you use an emery board to file your nails, we recommend you cut them in half, and use a different side for every nail. Since emery boards cannot be sterilized, please dispose of them when done using. This is to stop the fungus from spreading as well.
