EMUAID is considered safe for most animals. Tea tree oil, one of the key ingredients in our formula, is tolerated and safe for dogs and most pets in small concentrations (.1% to 1%). In Regular Strength EMUAID, the tea tree oil is under 1%, which makes it safe for topical use on animals. Many pet owners have found it helpful for soothing irritation and dryness.
We do not recommend using EMUAIDMAX Maximum Strength on pets, but the Regular Strength EMUAID is gentle enough to be applied to your dog’s itchy groin area. Simply apply a thin layer to the affected skin, and it should help calm the redness and dryness.
