Thank you for your reaching out. We understand why information found online can be concerning, and we are happy to clarify.
EMUAID contains Argentum Metallicum in a highly diluted homeopathic form and is intended for topical use only. This is very different from ingesting silver or taking oral products. When applied to the skin, EMUAID is designed to work locally on the affected area to help soothe irritation and support healing. With topical use, systemic absorption is expected to be minimal.
Concerns about organ effects are most commonly associated with ingesting certain forms of silver, or with some oral prescription medications that are processed through the liver. Those situations are not the same as using a topical homeopathic ointment as directed.
EMUAID also does not contain steroids, petrochemicals, parabens, fragrances, or harsh chemicals, and it is designed to be gentle on the skin. If you have known sensitivities or a medical condition, we recommend reviewing the ingredient list and doing a small patch test first.
While we cannot provide medical advice, if you have any specific health concerns, we always encourage you to speak with your healthcare provider for guidance based on your individual medical history.
