When applying EMUAIDMAX for nail fungus, it does matter where you apply it. You’ll want to focus on the entire nail, including around the edges and especially under the nail if possible, since that is where fungus often lives. Using a Q-tip for each nail is very helpful to avoid spreading it from one nail to another.
We do not recommend wearing nail polish while treating nail fungus. Nail polish can trap moisture and create a dark environment where fungus thrives. It can also block the ointment from fully penetrating the nail, which can slow down your results.
For best results, apply a thin layer at least three times daily to clean, dry nails and stay consistent. Keeping nails trimmed and clean will also help improve effectiveness.
