Hello,
We completely understand how frustrating and uncomfortable ringworm can be to deal with, especially when the skin becomes itchy, irritated, dry, or spreads over time.
The blue label is our regular strength EMUAID® First Aid Ointment. Many customers use it for sensitive, irritated, or delicate skin areas. However, for ringworm, we typically recommend EMUAIDMAX® maximum strength First Aid Ointment, the red and white label, since it is more concentrated and designed for stronger support.
EMUAIDMAX® contains higher levels of key ingredients like Tea Tree Oil, Bacillus Ferment (a probiotic), and Vitamin E, which help support irritated skin while helping with stubborn fungal related skin concerns.
Most mild cases of ringworm may begin improving within 2 to 4 weeks with consistent use, while more stubborn or widespread areas can take longer depending on severity and how long the condition has been present. Consistency is very important during treatment.
We recommend applying a thin layer at minimum 3 times daily for optimal results. A little goes a long way. Try to keep the area clean and dry as much as possible, since fungus tends to thrive in warm, moist environments.
