Hi,
If your doctor has diagnosed or suspects a staph infection, it is important to know that staph infections often require antibiotics prescribed by a healthcare provider to properly treat the infection. EMUAID is not intended to replace antibiotics for an active staph infection.
However, many customers use EMUAID First Aid Ointment Regular Strength (blue & white label) to help soothe irritation, redness, dryness, swelling, and discomfort associated with recurring skin concerns. It may also help provide relief from soreness and tenderness, especially if the area feels irritated or uncomfortable.
For application inside or around the nostril, we recommend using a clean Q-tip and applying only a very thin layer to the affected area. Be gentle during application and avoid inserting the Q-tip deeply into the nostril.

We recommend continuing to work with your GP regarding diagnosis and treatment recommendations. EMUAID can help provide comfort and relief from irritation and soreness, but antibiotics are often needed to properly treat staph infections.
Please let us know if you have any additional questions. We're happy to help! 😊
